Loxley grew up around Exit 44, and the interstate made it Baldwin County's logistics corner. The Aldi distribution hub, the warehouses, the truck-served commercial ground off I-10, they all needed one thing first: a big, flat, dead-level pad built to carry real weight. Site preparation is the trade that turns a Loxley field into that.
EMCO Builders preps sites across the Loxley area for the industrial and commercial growth coming off the interstate, and for the houses filling in behind it as Daphne and Spanish Fort spread east. We clear the ground, cut and fill it to grade, build and compact the stone base, and set the drainage so the site works. Licensed Alabama home builder #13967, 30-plus years in South Alabama, and (251) 747-7839 gets a person.

An industrial pad isn't a house pad scaled up. A warehouse floor and a loaded semi punish soft ground, so the dirt work underneath has to be right: strip the topsoil, bring the fill in select and compact it in lifts, and prove the density before the stone goes down. We build the subgrade and the stone base to the geotech's numbers, because on a building this size guessing shows up as a cracked slab.
Big flat pads have to drain or they undermine themselves. We shape the site so water leaves the building and the parking, cut the swales, and dig the detention and the storm lines the plan calls for. Loxley's ground is flat, so the drainage gets engineered in, not left to run downhill on its own.
Commercial and industrial jobs off Exit 44 run tight schedules with a lot of trades stacked up, and the site crew sets the pace. We keep the earthwork moving so the pad, the parking subgrade, and the laydown are ready when the building crews show up. Right elevations, compacted base, storm structures set, handed off clean.
The interstate that brought the warehouses also made Loxley a bedroom community, and the residential growth needs dirt work too. We clear lots, build residential pads, and put in driveways for the new houses going up between the industrial parks. The same crew that builds a warehouse pad builds a home site, scaled to fit.
